Jiangsu LIBO Medicine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and the International Association of Asia-Pacific Blood Types and Genomics (IAABG) have jointly organized the translation of the Blood Transfusion Therapy: A Handbook (14th Edition) by renowned experts in the field of transfusion medicine. The book was officially published and released by People's Medical Publishing House in February 2026.
This book aims to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive and systematic practice guide, covering all aspects from fundamental theories to clinical applications. It meticulously details the physiological characteristics and applications of blood components, and thoroughly analyzes the pathological mechanisms of hemostatic disorders and their therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, the book offers comprehensive prevention and management protocols for various adverse events that may arise in transfusion practice, significantly enhancing the safety of clinical blood transfusion.
In recent years, to advance the progress and innovative development of transfusion medicine in China, LIBO Medicine has actively organized the compilation and publication of specialized monographs, as well as the translation of authoritative international works. To date, this initiative has resulted in the sequential publication of monographs, including Analysis and Quality Control of Blood Group Genes, Practice of Clinical Transfusion Medicine, Standards for Molecular Testing in Immunohematology (Chinese version), and Judd's Methods in Immunohematology (Chinese version).
